About this deal
These preamps are complimented by high performance converters; they feature 113dB of dynamic range, allowing you to pinpoint sections of your mix with unrivalled accuracy. You can even use the JFET instrument input to plug your bass or electric guitar directly into the EVO 8 and start recording. Intuitive Features
All front panel controls are intuitive and immediate. Want to mute an input or output? Hold down its button. Want to link channels 3 and 4? Hold down both their input buttons. Want phantom power? Hit an input button, then press the 48V button. The basics are exactly as simple as you’d hope. One of the most unique and groundbreaking features of the interface is "Smartgain Mode". Once you start playing or singing with Smartgain Mode, the interface will automatically adjust the levels of your microphones, so you can avoid clipping and distortion. It will even match and adjust gain to both channels at the same time for added versatility. This makes the recording process easier than ever before, eliminating the need to adjust levels manually. This is perfect for beginners and professionals alike, streamlining your workflow. Detailed, warm sound with EVO mic preampsAudient Evo 4 review Audient have a history of big mixing desks, and now have one of the most compact interfaces available. Is it EVO so good?
These utilise some of the technology from those big desks – notably the ASP8024 preamp – for their high-quality sound. At this year’s NAMM show Audient announced the EVO range of interfaces which are not designed to replace the ID range, but more to be a completely new and compact interface solution. If an item can not be repaired, a similar alternative product or cash discount (as defined in this policy) will be offeredOn paper this seemed pretty much perfect- a compact interface with 4 inputs, smart gain, from a seemingly reliable manufacturer and for not that huge of a price!
EVO by Audient announces the arrival of EVO SP8, an eight channel Smart Preamp with AD/DA. Billed as the perfect expander for your audio interface, SP8 is the newest addition to the EVO range. Input recording is also exemplary, helped a little with a Smart Gain feature that helps you set levels, although to be fair you don’t really need it as such (see below for more on this).Low-latency, customisable software mixer - route outputs/inputs, apply phantom power, configure headphone mixes, set sound levels and more. For most home recording tasks, simplicity is a good thing. Why over-complicate the process and make life hard for yourself? That’s particularly true of audio interfaces, where the objective is to get sound into and out of your computer with minimal fuss. As long as the sound quality’s up to scratch, it’s better not to add unnecessary features, which often serve to do little more than disrupt workflow or increase the price of the device.
