Honestly don't know why the hell I love this so much.....other than the fact that it somehow smells effin awesome. To me this smells 50% like LNDL by YSL and I'm very suprised no one mentioned this! You can smell the cardamom and saffron immidietly. It smells very oriental and yes, a bit soapy too. An alluring sexy, calm, very clean, very expensive shaving/bar soap. It has really nice depth for a soapy scent. I prefer this clean soapy vibe over the typical citrus style soapy scents out there. This has a ghostly trail that is very smooth. Very easy to wear and no one would ever be offended. You could wear this year round except for the high heat.Opening is so beautiful with many high quality notes blended well together. Dry down is mildly floral and far dry down is creamy (calling it soapy is a let down). smell: open with some kind of hair spray like smelling, and then fancy hotel's soap come up with some bitter note. The first version (with "Résine de Labdanum de France" as on the plaque) made me marvel at its sharpness brought by cardamon, aldehyde and neroli. And then the powdery contour by labdanum, patchouli and the signature synthetic animalic note of Adrier. I wasn't realize this bottle has anchored my taste for fragrance since then until I find myself keep seek the beauty of something like L'Eau d'hiver or J'adore EdP (1999 formula). It's the contrast somehow emerges from delicate, continuous layers of nuance that keep drawing me to smelling a little longer. Also the twist of existed genres: ApH has a fougére structure, only the patchouli-resin base is heavily articulated its greasiness and cocooning texture, as the "modern amber" conceived by Adrier and further developed into following Amber perfumes.

There are many comparisons between Prada Amber Pour Homme and Prada L’homme. I’m not going to dig into that, but one obvious similarity is the soapy clean aspect. For me Prada L’Homme is way to feminine smelling and I usually don’t have any problem with unisex frags leaning feminine. But there are something in there that don’t appeal to me. (L’Homme Intense is way better, imo) Very good and solid fragrance. Lasts and projects really well. I think that it is strong in his own bubble like 0.5 m around you, yet i dont think it pushes on distance. But it's really strong around you.

I love this fragrance، it does not smell like what the note shows and that is magic to me. An awsome soapy scent that is not just clean but also sexy. Great performance on my skin 👍👍 this is for mature people lets say 30 years and up.
