Rocksmith Real Tone Cable
About this deal
This audio interface bundle gives you the microphone, headphones, and connectors you need to have a successful playing experience. When you play on PC, the computer’s microphone does a reasonably good job of grabbing the sounds from your guitar. You’ll see the results without much latency on the screen. As I said, this is more for casual players or people who just want to practice rather than actually play the game.
What most players discovered is that the issue with the Real Tone Cable starts with the USB connection. For starters, the cable is well made and includes a 1/4” plug, which is sturdy enough to withstand regular use. Additionally, the cable is lighter than a regular guitar cable, making it more comfortable and convenient for players of all levels. As an added bonus, it also has a built-in safety feature that prevents you from accidentally damaging your instrument or computer while connecting them. Regardless of which version of the game you bought, you can still use the cable on a different device.

That consistency translates to accurate gameplay representation so that you can continue progressing on your journey to learn how to play the guitar. Finally, if you have tried all of these fixes and you are still having audio or latency issues, it might be time to replace your Real Tone cable.
You can also clean the second connector in the cable, which you can find a few inches up from the USB side of the cable.
The only difference is that the game doesn’t detect your efforts because you’re not transmitting any sound to it. that's a core i7 @ 4.0 GHz, my special music computer ; I can run mutiple realtime VSTi on Cubase without problem but can't run that game properly, what a pitty, hehe)
If you have not encountered issues with your Real Tone Cable yet, it might only be a matter of time before problems arise. Some third-party Real Tone cable alternatives are readily available and will likely work on most devices. Replacing A Cable That's really weird. Perhaps my PC is too powerfull, the timers are failing because it's too fast? lol
